Hey everyone, well today marks the final day of my vacation and by 7:55 I’ll be on a plan heading back up the eastern coast of the United States, but not before hopefully catching the final launch of a space shuttle in NASA history. I’m writing this post ten days in advance so obviously anything is apt to change, but as of today, that’s my plan and I’m hopeful I’ll have some shots of the launch to share with you all when I return.
I wanted to take a minute and just say thanks to Aaron, Jason and Jim for their awesome posts and photographs. I know how precious time can be and for them to take time out of their day to share some thoughts here on Phogropathy I’m honored. I truly hope that all my regular readers found this experiment worth while and like their stuff as much as I do and I hope you’ll continue to visit their blogs from time to time!
Because my reader’s opinions are the most important thing to me I’d like to get your opinion on this past week, how’d you like the guest posts? Do you think it’s something you’d like to see return at another point down the road? Would you be interested in themed guest posts or guest post challenges? Take this little survey! Thanks so much for the feedback!
Today’s Photo – Another Little Sunset
This shot comes from the collection of sunset shots I took when I first received the Tokina 12-24 rental from BorrowLenses. This is an HDR rendition of the scene and I did the best I could to process it and bring out the reds and oranges of the sunset. It ended up looking more like an oil painting than a photograph, but I like it. It’s cool that you can see the couple on the shore in front of the little shack watching the sunset, I think it adds a little something to the shot.
Hope you like it, feel free to share it on Facebook and Twitter if you do by using the buttons at the bottom of this post. Thanks again for all your support and comments!
