This month’s challenge is designed to focus on the idea of improvement through repetition. Your challenge is to take a photograph of the same scene in multiple perspectives.
Some Tips To Keep In Mind
Here are some quick ideas to help you get started with this challenge
- Change your settings – Sometimes a small change in your shutter speed, aperture or focal length can actually make a big difference in the way your subject is portrayed in a photograph.
- Different Lenses – While a subtle focal length change on the same lens may still result in a similar overall feel, changing from a wide angle lens to a telephoto lens will have a dramatic effect on the photograph.
- Physical Location of Your Subject – Shooting at a subject facing north can be much different than facing south. Shooting a subject lit from behind is much different than one which is light from the front.
- Have fun – Finally, as always, have fun with the process. The goal is to push yourself to a new direction, and try something you might not have done if you didn’t have this challenge.
General Guidelines For Participating in Monthly Challenges

Alternatively if you’d like to ask the community for ideas regarding a reshoot of a photograph that you’ve previously taken which would fit this theme you can start a thread on the Image Review.
