Your challenge for the month is to photograph flowers. Have Fun!
Keep In Mind
Flowers can be photographed many ways, from a single flower to a field of flowers. You can use macro photography techniques to capture all the details, or use super wide-angle lenses to capture fields of flowers as part of a foreground element of a larger scene.
Flowers are also often found as decorations which will allow you to practice some still life photography where you set up a scene and stage it just so in order to capture the photograph you want. The possibilities are endless.
As always try to push yourself further than the bare minimum of finding a flower and taking a photograph. Think about composition, color, and lighting and how these things all interact with one another to create the image you want to present to your audience. Most importantly – have fun!
General Guidelines For Participating in Monthly Challenges
Photographs that you submit should have been taken within the month of the challenge. If you’ve previously taken a photograph that fits the theme of the challenge and would like to share it please do so in the Share Your Shots forum. You might also want to refine a previously shot photograph, in that case, submit your photograph to the Image Review forum and get advice on how you might approach a reshoot of that subject.
Submitting your photographs to the challenge is as simple as replying to this thread on the forum and attaching your image.
